I planned a week ahead. I got everything in my car that I could possibly need for the next 2 weeks of my trip. I decided I was going on tour to see Twiddle in Arizona. It was winter, it was cold and I wanted to be warm. Im going!
A day or two before I noticed my tires were low so I kept putting air in them but the day before leaving I thought it would be a good idea to have a professional check them. Lo and behold, I had a nail in one of the tires and the others had low treads. All four tires needed to be replaced. Ughhhh the trip wasn’t looking good. Luckily, my uncle John came through for me and prepaid for the tires to be put on and I could pay him back at a later date. Yay!! Trip was back on!

I got in my car, filled up my tank with gas in East Lyme, CT at noon and headed to the unknown. Well, my destination was set for Flagstaff, AZ. Kind of ironic because I previously worked at Walmart for over 10 years and that is where the home office is located LOL. This is actually my second time going on tour with Twiddle and my friend Claire driving her own car. This time, she was already half way ahead of me. I had to worry about snow storms, so I changed my route a few times to chase the better weather. It was still cold, but I didn’t want to drive in snow.
First stop, around 5 pm I went to visit my Girlfrend Ashley in Easton, PA to deliver a custom handmade Twiddle Inspired chalk bag for climbing that she commissioned me to make for her. This was my first time creating anything like this. I do love textiles and fabrics so it was easy for me to get excited to learn how to make something like this. It brought me new knowledge, income, and I helped a frend. Winning!!
Second stop for gas Kutztown, Pennsylvania. Arrival at 6:24 pm. I found a spot to park, went to the rest room, put my weathertec window covers on all windows (I love these things because they are custom for my vehicle and have a silver and a black side. I like the black side because it doesn’t draw attention if someone shines a light, but thats not the reason), settled into nap time. I was so tired I fell fast asleep for a whole 4 hrs LOL.
Life Lesson Learned: If you don’t know how to do something, find a YouTube video for it!
