Trie Michaud

Trie holds a Associate in Science Degree from Quinsigamond Community College. She has been photographing since childhood when she got her first camera (a brownie-110 film) from her Grandfather at age 4. She specializes in events, portraiture, and  pet photography.

Since graduating from college in 1998 she has been experimenting in all creative avenues including web design, graphic design, painting and drawing to tap into her own creative style. Photography has been her favorite medium, but has recently been exploring more ways to incorporate her photographic images in her paintings.

In 2014 Trie attended her first music festival and fell in love with the whole experience. All the positive energy it brings to her reflects in her persona and in her work. From the graphic images created from the music she listens to or the photographic portraits of musical artists.

She is now renown for her rebirthing name #Hugatrie, which brings smiles to everyone she meets (along with the best hugs of course).

Hugatrie showcased her art for the first time at the Metronome in Burlington Vermont at an art show called PhanArt during the Tumble Down Festival on July 29th, 2017.

Hugatrie started painting in November 2017, learning fluidart from YouTube.

She now provides paint night classes, has an online store, showcasing painting and such at the Mall of New Hampshire in the Manchester Craft Market Store, and also is a vendor at Derry Homegrown Farmers Market and other local festivals during the summer months.
